VILLA IN LA MURTA DE ALZIRA, VALENCIA

The goal of this project was to restore the original layout of the family house. Divided into two sections generations ago, it has now been redesigned as a single, unified home that seamlessly integrates with the garden. This connection opens up a pathway to the surrounding agricultural landscape, blending the house with its natural environment.

For the family that will live in the house, outdoor spaces are of great importance, offering a connection to the surrounding nature and agricultural traditions. To enhance this, various outdoor areas were designed to fully enjoy the environment.

From the outdoor kitchen to the swimming pool and the fire pit, every space is thoughtfully integrated into the natural landscape.

DETAILS

The main priority was to provide the house with ample shade to lessen the sun’s impact during the Mediterranean summer.

To achieve this, Mediterranean tree species were planted in the garden to offer natural shade, while pergolas covered with vegetation were added to areas where paved surfaces dominate. This ensures cooler, shaded spaces throughout the property.
