HOTEL REMODELING IN MEXICO

This time, we present the exterior redesign for the Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal hotel in Mexico. In this project, we propose a comprehensive remodeling of the outdoor spaces, themed “Tierra de Tortugas” (Land of Turtles).

The proposal includes the design and zoning of the interior spaces, with a particular focus on amenities for children, aiming to establish the hotel as a premier destination for family vacations. The facilities feature a Splash Park, a dry playground, a water park, an adult area, a solarium, and a snack bar, among other attractions.

The zoning is inspired by a turtle emerging from the sea to lay its eggs in the sand. Drawing from this inspiration, the designs mimic the patterns of a turtle's shell to create distinct spaces, where water is the central element.

Open areas, various amenities, and abundant vegetation are harmoniously combined, resulting in a truly unique environment.

The reference to turtles is evident in the layout of the outdoor spaces as well as in the design of the furniture.
